WHAT WE FUND
These donations help fund many areas of Hospital need, such as enhancements and program support, education, research, and primary equipment. The results of these donations help improve the quality of life of the children and their families, along with providing education and research of current illnesses and future treatments. This spring, a street leading to the Hospital was renamed “For the Kids Way” to honor Dance Marathon’s support to the Hospital.
WHO WE ARE
Dance Marathon is SAU’s largest student run philanthropic organization. SAU Dance Marathon is a culmination of year-long fundraising by participants, known as dancers, to celebrate the lives of children and families treated at the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
OUR MISSION
Dance Marathon provides emotional and financial support for families treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Dance Marathon is about the kids, and at St. Ambrose University, we ‘BEElieve in the Kids.’
